Companionship

Companionship care offers support to individuals who are healthy but feeling isolated and lonely in their own homes. Factors like mobility issues, illness, or frailty can make living at home challenging. Having a live-in companion can enhance safety and improve quality of life by providing both care and companionship, especially for the elderly facing social isolation. Many seniors live alone and often experience loneliness, which can have significant impacts on their wellbeing; companionship care helps combat this by encouraging social interaction and engagement in meaningful activities Our companionship caregivers are dedicated to providing friendship, support, and assistance around the home, while respecting the independence of clients they care for. They are chosen for their compassion and experience, ensuring a positive and engaging experience for your loved one. While our services focus on companionship and emotional support, they do not cover personal care tasks. Care can be tailored to individual needs, whether it’s a few hours of or 24/7 live-in care.

Respite Care

Respite care provides essential relief for family caregivers by offering professional care during their much-needed breaks, ensuring that loved ones receive care in a secure environment. This type of care is given for a specific period while the regular caregiver takes time to recharge. The average cost for live-in respite care is £1,050 per week. As loved ones age, they may face health challenges that make-care increasingly difficult. These issues can vary from dementia (which affects 20% of individuals over 80) to accidents and chronic illnesses (impacting 66% of those over 75). Consequently, many seniors require home care to maintain their independence. In fact, 1 in 10 people in the UK are caregivers. With the growing number of elderly individuals needing assistance and the rising number of caregivers, support is vital for enabling these caregivers to perform their roles safely and joyfully. At times, emergency respite care may also be necessary when existing care arrangements fail due to a decline in the patient’s condition or caregiver fatigue and our able carers are always available to help.
